In 2016 Northern Ireland for first time qualified for European championship, finishing in their qualification group in first place. With Shamrock the League of Ireland twice and also Setanta cup in 2010, O'Neill was appointed manager of Northern Ireland in December 2011 and led the team to UEFA Euro 2016. He is Sports manager of the year and Sports personality of the year for 2015.

Captain of Northern Ireland for 10 years, Davis is one of the most experienced players of the team, playing in England for Aston Villa and Fulham and also for Glasgow Rangers in Scotland. Davis was selected by the fans in the greatest XI of the national team.
